OPERATION BAHAMAS

 

OBJECTIVES: 

1) To coordinate emergency volunteer airlift and sea lift support originating from South Florida to provide aid and relief for Bahamian victims of Hurricane Dorian.

2) To provide aerial damage assessment, search, disaster mapping, and critical infrastructure condition assessment capabilities for affected areas and islands of The Bahamas impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

3) To assist the long-term recovery and resilience of Grand Bahamas Island, the Abaco Islands, and other area impacted by Hurricane Dorian though the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and related technologies for all stages of the recovery and rebuilding process.
